Select the activities your employees will be interested in doing with other employees, whether at their base location or while on the move. Soccer, book clubs, happy hour, gaming, playdates, charitable causes, running...the choices are custom to your workforce.
Create your own campaign or simply launch a "campaign in a box" program designed to get your employees engaged with whozin and start connecting! Employees will select all of the activities and interests that they want to connect with others on while creating their profile.
Employees can now make meaningful connections with coworkers around activities and interests they care about by sending out their own whozin invite or joining an event.
“We humans are social beings. We come into the world as the result of others’ actions. We survive here in dependence on others. Whether we like it or not, there is hardly a moment of our lives when we do not benefit from others’ activities. For this reason it is hardly surprising that most of our happiness arises in the context of our relationships with others.” -The Dalai Lama
Well really it's quite simple. The tools businesses use to communicate and connect like Slack, Yammer, MS Teams, FB groups, texts, and email are not designed to connect people to actually DO SOMETHING. They do a great job of what they were designed to do, but physical, social connection is not it. For example, if someone wants to get team members together for a fun run, they might post it in a variety of places which not only becomes noise for people who not only don't run, but also for those who don't even live in the area. And then for those that are interested another line of communication needs to be started to coordinate offline and managing people coming and going in that new communication thread becomes a chore.
When connecting becomes a hassle, people tend to not do it.
